MAITRE SAVON extra pure Marseille soap shavings, cooked in a cauldron, are made in our Marseille soap factory using traditional know-how, in accordance with the charter of the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille (UPSM). They are 100% natural, made exclusively from vegetable oils. This product allows you to make your own homemade detergent, a natural, economical and effective alternative to synthetic detergents.

Traditionally made in one of Marseille's last soap factories

Detergent certified by Ecocert Greenlife in accordance with the ECOCERT "Ecodetergent" standard, available at http://detergents.ecocert.com

- Hand-wash: dissolve 10g of shavings in very hot water in a basin and leave the linen to soak. Scrub and rinse.

- Machine wash: in a rinsed and dried 2-litre recovery container, dissolve 40g of shavings in 1 liter of very hot water. Shake well. Leave to stand for 24 hours.
Stir again and add 1 liter of cold water. Stir. You can add baking soda for whitening, essential oils for scenting and/or white vinegar for softening. Shake the detergent before each use.

For more ecological use, run your washing machine at full load, prefer low-temperature wash cycles and adjust the dosage according to the degree of dirtiness of your laundry.
