Maitre Savon de Marseille products are sold in all major food retailers, in the household and personal care departments.

We mainly manufacture and sell our products in supermarkets.
We do not yet offer direct sales to individuals.

The Detergents Regulations* require details of certain classes of ingredients in products sold to the general public. Components are listed according to the following percentage by weight ranges:

• Less than 5% of sales
• 5% or more but less than 15% of sales
• 15% or more but less than 30% of sales
• 30% or more

Traditional Marseille soap is made :

• From vegetable fats only (no "sodium tallowate", the animal fat), no colorants, no fragrances, no additives, no processing aids.
• In cauldrons, using the traditional saponification process.
• In Marseille or Bouches-du-Rhône.

The products in the Maitre Savon de Marseille range are designed by the Savonnerie du Midi, one of the last remaining Marseille soap factories, and a founding member of the UPSM (Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille), which has defined a manufacturing charter for traditional Marseille soap.

Products bearing this collective mark are Marseille soap, as defined by the Union des Professionnels du Savon de Marseille.
